Alma Ferovic Fazlic - Graduated and obtained her master's degree at the Academy of Music Sarajevo - Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy.  She also completed postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London - Musical Theatre and continued her professional development at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and privately with one of the UK's leading singing professors Mary King.

In addition to this, with renowned Indian artist from the UK singer Swati Natekar Alma's interest in Indian "classical and light" singing strongly developed through two years of study of traditional Indian music and Bollywood film music. 

The Honours Committee of the Royal Academy of Music in London elected her Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in 2020 as the only student from Bosnia and Herzegovina to date and destinguished alumni who have made a significant contribution to the music profession in general. This award internationally recognized the work and contribution of Alma Ferovic Fazlic in the field of musical theatre, and especially in establishing this profession in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This crowned her ten-year work after studying in London and many years of professional activity around the world. Upon returning to Sarajevo, Alma founded the Institute of Music, Theatre and Multimedia (iMTM), an educational platform primarily for musical theatre that did not exist. Today, iMTM is a licensed representative of Rockschool London, an internationally recognized program with accredited diplomas.

She is the producer and musical director of the first and most popular musicals in BiH, including: "Grease", "Footloose", "Dirty Dancing", "Annie" and "Flashdance", the Gala concert "Broadway-West End Musicals of the 80s" and plays for youth "Mravko Travko", which in recent years have been performed on large theatre stages, including the National Theatre in Sarajevo, the Bosnian National Theatre Zenica, the Youth Theatre in Sarajevo and the Bosnian Cultural Center in Sarajevo. All mentioned productions were performed in Croatia.

She is the author of about thirty articles and papers published in the magazine for music culture Music of the Musicological Society of the Federation of BiH, of which she is also a member. She is an active participant and lecturer in international seminars and symposiums. Since 2019, she has been the coordinator for World Voice Day for the entire territory of BiH.

She has been collaborating with KKD Ivana Brlić Mažuranić in Slavonski Brod, Croatia for ten years, as most recently as vocal coach of musical "Jagor", and she is continuously guest at the International Accordion Festival Bela pl. Panthy in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. She collaborated on projects of the production company Opera Circus from the UK.

The international concert experience includes a UK tour with Sir Elton John and a world tour with Indian double Oscar winner A.R. Rahman, with whom she performed in the UK, India, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Kuwait and Singapore and finally London’s Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. During her music education in Sarajevo, as a member and soloist of the Female Academic Choir Gaudeamus, she represented BiH in more than twelve European countries, and she also performed with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra.

In the field of performing arts internationally, during 2019/2020, as a soloist she recorded background music for the musical “Atkan Chatkan” by Indian composer and double Oscar winner ARRahman (for Slumdog Millionaire, Danny Boyle) and percussionist Annandan Sivamani, as well as the title track for musical album "Pictures at an exhibition".

Theatrical experience includes musical Lord of the Rings, in which she took part in 492 performances in the role of Glorfindel, Elranien and the lead role of Galadriel on the prestigious stage of the Royal Drury Lane Theatre, the oldest and largest theatre in London. Other theatre credits include musicals Sweeney Todd and The Boys from Syracuse, the cabaret show Let’s Get Away from It All, and Sevdah Opera (Dorset). At the National Theatre in Sarajevo, she also played the role of Helena in Silk, directed by Branko Vekić. As a guest actress she appeared in TV series Hotel Babylon (BBC1) and Lewis (ITV), and her film experience includes a role in the Bollywood hit Rockstar, by Indian director Imtiaz Ali.

The studio singing experience includes: the album of the group Fun-da-mental-All is war and the song Srebrenica Massacre, for which she wrote lyrics and music, the album of the Indian percussionist Anandan Sivamani-Malhalel and the song Dancing on the Moon, film albums: Breaking and Entering and the song Bentbash, directed by Anthony Mingella, Bollywood films Bose, Afghanistan, Rockstar and Aur Ho, Wishwaroopam and Koi Kahin, Arima Nambi and Naanum Unnil Paadi, Tamasha and Tu Koi Aur Hai and the latest 2.0 directed by Skara Panickera. She is the author of lyrics and music for the music document "Srebrenica", the author of the music document "Emina", and the music for the documentary film "Hero of our time", directed by Šeki Radončić.

From 2008 to 2017 she was guest lecturer on the subject of Music and Stage Projects at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo, and since 2018, she is working as assistant professor on the subject of "Voice" at the Department of Acting at the Academy of Performing Arts Sarajevo.

Most recently the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo awarded her with "Dr. Razija Lagumdžija" award for the most successful results in teaching, art and science in 2020.

She is the author and co-author of several professional and scientific review articles, published in publications in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, a regular participant in symposia and conferences in the region and a member of the FBiH Musicological Society.

Since 2023, she is a student of Doctoral studies at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo, within which she will research in the field of interdisciplinarity of music and dramatic arts, researching pedagogic strategies in the musical education of actors.
